Under the guidance of the Irish Community Archive Network, Clarecastle and Ballyea Heritage and Wildlife Group has spent the last four years setting up a website that we can all be proud of. The website acts as an archive for our Parish’s collections of photographs, publications, and research papers. An archive like this has stories to tell and to preserve for future generations.  It is a live and active archive, taking on new material as it is discovered and always appealing for more material. Our archives give a reassuring sense of connection to a longer story.  We are very grateful to the wonderful staff of iCan for making this facility available to us and for the training and advice given to us to present our treasures in the best possible way.
