Clarecastle and Ballyea Schools Postcard Design Competition

Design a Postcard Competition – Clarecastle & Ballyea School – May 2021

 Clarecastle & Ballyea Heritage & Wildlife Group launched this Competition in Clarecastle and Ballyea Schools on 4 May 2021. The Competition is open to all 4^th, 5^th and 6^th class students and the closing date is 31 May 2021. Full details can be found on the Poster.

As an aid to the schools, Clarecastle & Ballyea Heritage & Wildlife Group have recorded a number of illustrated talks on local history of Clarecastle and  Ballyea. They have also made a recording on Biodiversity in the Parish covering the Quay area, Killone and Ballybeg Woods. These recordings have been presented to the school and can be played in whole or in part for the pupils. The recordings can be found by clicking on the links below:
