In 2023, Clarecastle is marking its 60th year in the Tidy Towns Competition. We were recently given the Adjudicator’s Report for 1965. Early days in the competition and interesting to read the comments. Included in the Clarecastle Tidy Towns Committee back then were Canon Hogan, Mrs Bridge, John Sullivan and Bernard Power.
